Sing Storytime Blog

This blog is for librarians and educators! I will be posting examples of books you can sing and other ways you can incorporate music in your programming.

Old MacDonald Had a Truck

Here's a fun and different take on an old favorite- "Old MacDonald Had a Truck" by Steve Goetz and Eda Kaban. This one uses construction vehicles on the farm, and it's super fun to sing!

Sing, Sophie!

This book, "Sing, Sophie!" by Dayle Ann Dodds and Rosanne Litzinger is hilarious and a hoot to sing. The rhythmic song lyrics can fit with several tunes, but this is how I like to sing it!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Here's a fun book that isn't traditionally sung- "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. This book has a great rhythm to it, so I thought it would be fun to try to sing it!
